Swedish climate activist Greta Thunberg (born 2003) at Prairie Knights Casino, on the Standing Rock Sioux Reservation, Fort Yates, North Dakota, USA. She was visiting Native American activists that were opposing the Dakota Access pipeline. Thunberg rose to prominence at the age of 15 when she campaigned for action on global warming, with her protests leading to a worldwide movement of school strikes for action on climate change. She has continued to campaign on these issues and the needed lifestyle changes to avert a climate catastrophe. Wet-plate glass photograph taken on 8th October 2019.
