Between 1988 and 1989, four young girls were lured and murdered one after another in Tokyo and Saitama; on July 23, 1989, Tsutomu Miyazaki, 26, a printing industry assistant in Itsukaichi, Tokyo, was arrested for kidnapping and indecent assault.　Fukagawa police officers and Miyazaki (white arrow) conduct an on-the-spot investigation in Shinonome Park below Ayako's house (black arrow), August 20, 1989.
