Massacre des inhabitants de Paris, The Cabochien revolt (1413) (Vigiles de Charles VII, Manuscrit François 5054, fol. 8v) The Cabochien revolt was an episode in the Civil war between the Armagnacs and the Burgundians which was in turn a part of the Hundred Years' War. By 1413 the Cabochiens and the Burgundians were causing increasing dissension. By the end of August a number of university leaders reunited around the Duke of Duke.
