Warty frogfish fishing. Warty frogfish (Antennarius maculatus, light coloured, right) using its lure (lower left) to tempt prey into within striking range. This fish can grown up to 15 cm long and is found in the Indo-West Pacific region in shallow sheltered reefs. They are often found hidden amongst sponges, which they use to deceive predators by blending into their surroundings. Its main source of food is other smaller fish. This species of Frogfish is very variable coming in many colours. Photographed off Ambon, Indonesia.
