Thick-billed raven
Thick-billed raven scavenging on a dead fox. The thick-billed raven (Corvus crassirostris) is the largest member of the raven family and is also the largest perching bird (Passeriformes), reaching a length of 64cm. It inhabits the mountain ranges and plateaus of Eritrea and Ethiopia where it feeds on insects and carrion. Photographed in Bale National Park, Ethiopia.
