Cog android robot
Cog android robot turning a handle. Cog (short for cognitive) is a robotic platform that was developed by the Humanoid Robotics Group at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), USA. It was used to explore human and artificial intelligence (AI). It can co-ordinate its hearing and visual systems to pinpoint a noise source, make eye contact with humans, and track a moving object. Cog is also used to study how humans learn through interactions with other people. Development of the Cog robot began in 1993.
