Tornado damage
Tornado damage. Massive tree uprooted by a powerful tornado or twister. The woman is holding a tape measuring 0.9 metres and she is 1.6 metres tall. A tornado is a violent, rotating column of air characterised by a funnel-shaped cloud. In the most severe tornadoes, winds travel at over 500 kilometres per hour, causing devastating damage.
