Arsenic ore
Arsenic ore or native arsenic (symbol: As). This element is rarely formed naturally and is more often mined as sulphides of arsenic. The native form is associated with deposits of silver ore. Arsenic is used in insecticides and is also poisonous to humans. It is used to harden metal alloys. In electronics, arsenic is used as an impurity to modify the electrical properties of semiconductors, such as transistors and diodes.
