Biometric identification
Biometric identification. Conceptual computer artwork of a human eye, fingerprints, electronic circuitry and binary digits, representing the use of biometric parameters in identification. Iris or retina patterns and fingerprints are unique for each individual and could be incorporated into identification (ID) cards or passports. Such information may be stored as binary code (a series of ones and zeros). Fingerprint and iris or retinal scanning technology can also be used for secure access to particular buildings or computer files.
