The Mudmen of Papua New Guinea are those who wear a traditional costume centered around masks made of mud. These are from Chguga province in the Western Highlands and are seen here during a Sing-Sing, a gathering of tribes or villages to show their distinct culture, dance, and music. This one is the village of Paiya, just outside of Mt. Hagen, involving about 15 tribes; Papua New Guinea, by Karen Kasmauski / Design Pics
