The clarity of the starry sky becomes clearer as we gain elevation from the foot of Shishigatake. When we reach the highest point on the Makae-Kohagi line of the forest road, the lights of the Miya River basin and Ise Bay seem to be at an angle that keeps them away from us. The sky becomes closer, and the Pleiades in Taurus, the Double Cluster in Perseus, and the Andromeda Nebula come into view!
