Lunar craters
Lunar craters. Two notable craters, Manzinus and Mutus, are at the upper centre of the image, Mutus being slightly to the left with a smaller crater within it, and Manzinus being the larger crater. These are impact craters, formed when something relatively small crashed into the Moon at high velocity., by DAMIAN PEACH/SCIENCE PHOTO LIBRARY
