As well as numerous galaxies from billions of years ago, the foreground shows trails white from asteroid that are within the solar system. The curvature is due to the effects of parallax. The bluer curves are due to gravitational lensing of distant galaxies. This image combines optical and infrared data from the Hubble Space Telescope HSTs Advanced Camera for Surveys ACS and Wide Field Camera 3 WFC3. Abell 370 galaxy cluster, Hubble Frontier Field

Abell 370 galaxy cluster, Hubble Frontier Field. The galaxy cluster Abell 370 is 4 billion light years from Earth in the constellation of Cetus. As well as numerous galaxies from billions of years ago, the foreground shows trails (white) from asteroid that are within the solar system. The curvature is due to the effects of parallax. The bluer curves are due to gravitational lensing of distant galaxies. This image combines optical and infrared data from the Hubble Space Telescope (HST)'s Advanced Camera for Surveys (ACS) and Wide Field Camera 3 (WFC3). Image data obtained between 2009 and 2015 as part of the Frontier Fields programme. Photo by ASA, ESA, and B. Sunnquist and J. Mack (STScI)/SCIENCE PHOTO LIBRARY
