Prototype robot for automated quality control of fruit
Prototype robot for non destructive automated quality control of fruits and vegetables. It uses a laser sensor and hyper spectral infrared to penetrate the interior of the fruit. The values are then compared against a spectral curve model of a perfectly ripe fruit. The robot also uses a standard RGB camera to locate and pickup the fruit.
