Venus, the second planet from the Sun, is known as the 'evening star' or 'morning star' because it is never visible for more than 3 hours before sunrise or 3 hours after sunset. It is the third brightest heavenly body, being outshone only by the Sun & Moon. Saturn is the sixth planet from the Sun. It is best known for its rings, although these cannot be seen by the naked eye. Photographed on the 19th March 1999.
