The summit meeting of the Group of 20 (G20) major economies, of which Japan holds the chairmanship for the first time, has opened. Prime Minister Abe declared the creation of the "Osaka Track," a framework for the creation of international rules for the free distribution of data across borders, at an event in the digital economy. The development of international rules to deal with data-based business will be promoted.
