Tenma Tenjin Hanjo-tei opened to the press after renovation work was completed in Kita Ward, Osaka City.
Tenma Tenjin Hanjo-tei (Kita Ward, Osaka City), a regular theater for Kamigata Rakugo (traditional Japanese comic storytelling), completed a month-long renovation and opened to the press on the 29th. This is the first large-scale renovation since the theater opened in 2006. The lobby has been expanded to create a more comfortable space for the audience. About 900 lanterns on the ceiling of the auditorium, which had been deteriorating, and the air conditioning system were also newly installed.
