Daisuke Tsuda Director of pulled art exhibition in Nagoya speaks at FCCJ
September 02, 2019, Tokyo, Japan - Photographers take pictures of a small replica of the ''Statue of a Girl of Peace'' on display after concluded the news conference of Daisuke Tsuda, Artistic Director of Aichi Triennale 2019 at The Foreign Correspondents' Club of Japan. The artistic director spoke about the ''Statue of a Girl of Peace'' which was removed from the exhibition section of the festival titled the 'Non-Freedom of Expression Exhibition at Aichi Triennale 2019' due public pressure. The statue symbolizes the ''comfort women'', many of them Koreans, who were forced to work in Japanese military brothels during World War Two.
