Flying Dutchman Class Race 3 New Zealand (right) and Australian boats sailing in stormy weather with strong winds and rough seas. There were 13 finishers out of 21 boats in this race. New Zealand came in first. New Zealand was first, and the final result was also first. Australia's Winter was swept away by a wave and had to abandon the race. Winter was saved by the Kiel brothers from Sweden. The final result was 14th place, off Enoshima Island in Fujisawa City, Kanagawa Prefecture, October 14, 1964.
