On November 5, the four opposition parties, the Democratic Party of Japan, the Communist Party of Japan, the Social Democratic Party, and the People's New Party, invited Tetsu Nakamura, the local representative of the Peshawar Association, a non-governmental organization operating in Afghanistan, to a round-table meeting at the Kensei Kinenkan near the Diet in connection with a draft amendment to the new Antiterrorism Special Measures Law under discussion.
