Softbank and University of Tokyo announce to establish Beyong AI Institute
December 6, 2019, Tokyo, Japan - University of Tokyo vice president Teruo Fujii announces University of Tokyo and Softbank will establish the "Beyong AI Institute" which will conduct fundamental research for artificial intelligence (AI) technology and for incorporating research from other academic fields at the University of Tokyo on Friday, December 6, 2019.
