Charleston, West Virginia: 1912
Charleston is under martial law with the conflict between the coal operators and the workers' strike.
The Militia has been quartered on Cabin Creek and Paint Creek for the past 60 days and they have confiscated six machine guns from the coal companies and 2,000 shotguns, Mausers, Winchesters, Springfields, and other mountain rifles plus 250,000 rounds of ammunition from both sides, much of it being found in the woods.
