The world efforts to ride out the COVID-19 crisis
Single-person COVID-19 testing booth, Mar 18, 2020 : A doctor talks to a woman in a booth via intercom before the woman receives a COVID-19 test swab at a single-person testing facility outside a hospital in Seoul, South Korea. The H-plus Yangji Hospital set up public telephone booth style COVID-19 testing facilities in which medical team safely takes a swab from the patient inside the booth by use of gloves equipped on the booth and communicate with the patient by intercom. The single-person booth to test for novel coronavirus enables medical team to avoid being exposed directly to patients and it reduces time for disinfection. South Korean government restricted religious gatherings, indoor sports activities and visits to nightclubs and other entertainment venues to slow the new coronavirus pandemic that emerged in China late last year.
