Reconstruction Assistance Charity Match
Two team group, MARCH 29, 2011 - Football : "Gambaro, Japan" charity match between Japan and J.League select team "TEAM AS ONE" at Nagai Stadium in Osaka, Japan. Japan's national team took on a J-League select team in a charity match to benefit victims of the 2011 Tohoku earthquake and tsunami held at the Nagai Stadium in Osaka on Tuesday. The game was hastily arranged after New Zealand pulled out of a friendly fixture due to fears over radiation levels and all 38,000 match tickets were sold within an hour of going on sale. The J-League season was postponed after just one game after the earthquake and is now set to restart on April 23rd although four stadium are still unusable and awaiting repair.
