Kumano Kodo
A three story pagoda of Seigantoji temple stands next to Nachi falls near Kumano Nachi Taisha shrine on June 14, 2019 in Nachikatsuura town, Wakayama Prefecture, Japan. Kumano Nachi Taisha is one of "Kumano Sanzan" or three grand shrines - comprised along with Kumano Hongu Taisha, and Kumano Hayatama Taisha, connected with Kumano Kodo,a series of ancient pilgrimage routes. Kumano Kodo, Kumano Sanzan are registered as UNESCO World Heritage sites along with Koyasan, Yoshino and Omine as the "Sacred Sites and Pilgrimage Routes in the Kii Mountain Range.
