Chernobyl was the world's worst nuclear accident, now 25 years ago. Nearby just outside the closed zone in the village Stepanivka toxic radioactivity remains highly dangerous to health. The sarcophagus around the exploded reactor has begun to crack. Unemployment is 70 percent. The residents are resigned but are keeping on tirelessly for the pure instinct of survival.
