Low pressure over southern Mexico
Large possibility of development in the east and west
The National Hurricane Center is keeping a close watch on two areas of low pressure along the Intertropical Convergence Zone. In the Eastern Pacific there is a near-100% chance of tropical cyclone formation in the next 48 hours, and in the Caribbean a 50% chance in the next 48 hours as that low moves slowly north northwest over the next few days.
