May 26, 2011, Hiraizumi, Japan - The stone pavement leads to the Golden Hall of Chusonji, a Buddhist temple in Hiraizumi, Iwate Prefecture, northern Japan, on Thursday, May 26, 2011. The hall is the mausoleum containing the mummified remains of the leaders of the OshuFujiwara clan who ruled much of northern Japan from the 11th to the 12th century.
