HISTORY OF PHOTOGRAPHY The experiments of dr. Schultze. German doctor (12 May 1687 - 10 October 1744), during some chemical experiments carried out in 1717, he accidentally noticed that a mixture of chalk, silver and nitric acid contained within a glass bottle became dark on the side exposed to light, while it did not change color on the shaded side.
