The completed small satellite "Maido-1" (SOHLA1). On the afternoon of the 26th, it will leave for Tsukuba Space Center in Tsukuba City, Ibaraki Prefecture, by truck to undergo a final inspection. Maido No. 1 is a 50-centimeter cube and weighs about 50 kg. It is scheduled to be launched by the H2A rocket to send observation data on thunderclouds and other data to the ground. The photo was taken on August 25, 2008 and published in the morning edition on August 26, 2008.
