XMASS detector to detect "dark matter" (dark matter) Hida City, Gifu
The XMASS detector, which detects mysterious "dark matter" (dark matter) that cannot be observed by conventional methods, is almost complete at the University of Tokyo's Kamioka Observatory. The center of the detector is being assembled at the Kamioka Observatory of the University of Tokyo's Institute for Cosmic Ray Research in Hida City, Gifu Prefecture, on February 9, 2010.
