Caryophyllene. Molecular model of the sesquiterpene caryophyllene (C15.H24). This bicyclic molecule is a constituent of many essential oils found in plants such as cannabis, cloves, rosemary and hops. It is also found in, and contributes to the spiciness of, black pepper.
