Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant Accident Namie Town Today
September 30, 2011, Fukushima, Japan - Animal rescuer Charles Harmison prepares to remove cats caught in traps to cages during an animal rescue mission in the abandoned village of Tsushima, Namie town. Mr Harmison and his partner Yoshiko Wada rescued 11 animals from the area. Radiation readings in the village on the 30th according to the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science & Technology were 6.3 microsieverts per hour. (Photo by Bruce Meyer-Kenny/AFLO) [3692]
