Anabolic steroid. Bottles containing Sustanon 250. Sustanon 250 is a popular anabolic steroid used for muscle building and male hormone replacement therapy (HRT). It is a trade-name for an oil-based injectable blend of four testosterone (male hormone) compounds: testosterone propionate, testosterone phenylpropionate, testosterone isocaproate, testosterone decanoate. These are esterised forms of the hormones. This allows for sustained release of testosterone from the injection site into the blood plasma.
