The facial sinuses are membrane-lined spaces in the bones of the face, seen as the dark spaces at centre left. The sinuses above the eye are also seen. There is also bilateral (both sides of the face) hypertrophy (enlargement) of the lower turbinate bone (centre left), protruding into the nasal passage.
