Magnetic therapy for depression
Magnetic therapy for depression. Patient with severe depression being prepped for treatment using transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS). TMS uses localised pulses of magnetic fields to stimulate increased activity in the left frontal lobe, the area of the brain associated with mood disorders.
