Sleeping under a mosquito net, Canada
Sleeping under a mosquito net. The net has been secured by stones around its edge, and a rope over a tree branch has been used to pull the net erect. The mesh of the net prevents mosquitoes and other river-dwelling insects, such as midges, from biting the camper as they sleep. Some mosquitoes and other insects transmit diseases. Photographed in the Coast Mountains, British Columbia, Canada.
