Human waste for biogas production
Engineering plant for producing biomethane which can be used as a commercial fuel for vehicular use, including trains. In this case the biogas is added to a town's domestic grid after cleaning and adjusting the calorific value by the addition of propane. Picture shows the dried human waste slurry, or 'cake', after digestion, which is sold as agricultural fertiliser.
