Copies of Leonard Darwin's \What is Eugenics\" Galton publishing 1929 (US edition) and Saarland University copy of \"Was ist Eugenik\" first German edition of same 1931. Also copy of Leonard Darwin's \"The Need for Eugenic Reform\" John Murray Publishers 1926, this copy withdrawn from German University Kiel Library after WWII (Karl Clauberg was an SS doctor who studied there and later conducted experiments in sterilising Jewish women at Auschwitz). Leonard Darwin (15th January 1850-26th March 1943) was the fourth son and eighth child of Charles Darwin. He was Chairman of the British Eugenics Society between 1911-1928, and Honorary President from 1928-1943. He dedicated his Eugenics Reform book to his father and \"towards making his (father's) Life's work of service to mankind\". Leonard Darwin was widely remembered as kindly, though he thought himself inferior in intellect to his brothers."
