Cupping acupuncture
Cupping acupuncture. Therapist removing cupping vessels from a patient's back. This alternative therapy increases blood circulation by placing small heated vessels on the skin. As the vessels (usually glass jars) cool, a small vacuum is created and the skin is sucked into the vessel. This practice is derived from Chinese medicine and is used in the treatment of respiratory conditions and musculoskeletal pains.
