Soyuz Soviet rocket
Soyuz Soviet rocket carrying a Progress transporter. Soyuz was an expendable carrier rocket that was used by the Soviet Union to launch spacecraft as part of the Soyuz programme. It was initially used on unmanned test flights, but then launched the first 19 manned launches of the program. Progress is a Russian expendable freight spacecraft that is an unmanned resupply vehicle during its flight but allows access to astronauts when docked with the International Space Station (ISS).
