Tanita President Chisato Tanida speaks in front of a set meal at the company cafeteria. Tanita's cafeteria is ready. Tanita, a major weight scale manufacturer, has published a best-selling cookbook "Body Fat Scale Tanita's Employee Cafeteria," a collection of low-calorie menus from its employee cafeteria. Next January, the company will open the Marunouchi Tanita Shokudo restaurant in Marunouchi, Tokyo. President Tanita, 39, says, "Although each meal contains only 500 kilocalories, the flavor and filling of the food will satisfy our customers.
