Red-billed oxpecker on white rhino
Red-billed oxpecker on white rhino. Red-billed oxpecker (Buphagus erythrorhynchus) sitting on the leg of a white rhinoceros (Ceratotherium simum). The oxpecker and rhino have a symbiotic relationship. The bird gains food by eating ticks and other insects from the rhino's skin, while the rhino is cleaned of parasites.
