The Republic of Yemen is located in southwest Asia on the south coast of the Arabian Peninsula. It is bordered by Oman (upper right), Saudi Arabia (top), and the Red Sea (blue, left). The Gulf of Aden (blue, lower centre) separates Yemen from Somalia (bottom centre-right). The Yemeni island of Socotra (bottom right) can be seen in the Arabian Sea (blue, lower right).
