Kidney tissue. Fluorescence deconvolution micrograph of a section through a kidney, showing renal tubules (red, circular) and cell nuclei (blue dots). The function of the glomeruli is to filter waste products from the blood. After the reabsorption of certain substances from the renal tubules, the liquid is transported to the bladder as urine.
