Kori Bustard with Pale Chanting Goshawks
Southern pale chanting goshawks (Melierax canorus) and a kori bustard (Ardeotis kori) wait for an opportunity to snatch prey which may escape the clutches of a honey badger (Mellivora capensis) whilst it is foraging for food. This behaviour is called Commensalism. The Kori Bustard is using a threat display in an effort to intimidate the Goshawks. Photographed in Etosha National Park, Namibia, Southern Africa.
