Comet PanSTARRS
Comet PanSTARRS at sunset. Comets are icy bodies from the outer solar system that boil and form a bright tail of gas and dust as they approach the Sun. This comet was discovered in June 2011 with the Pan-STARRS telescope in Hawaii. It reached perihelion on 10 March 2013. Photographed from Chascomus, Argentina, on 5 March 2013.
