Pink anemonefish and tongue parasite
Pink anemonefish (Amphiprion perideraion) and tongue parasite swimming amongst the tentacles of its host anemone. The fish has a tongue-eating louse (Cymothoa exigua) parasite inside its mouth. This parasite destroys the fish's tongue and then replaces it. It feeds off the fish's blood and mucus. The fish is able to use the louse just as it would its tongue.
