Kinnvika historic polar research station
The Kinnvika station was built for the International Geophysical Year 1957-58 by a Swedish-Finnish-Swiss expedition. The research centre could accommodate up to 15 people. It last operated in 1959 but plans for restoration are underway as part of Svalbard's heritage preservation. Nordaustlandet, Svalbard, Norway.
