Villagers in the Northernmost Annapurna
(May 23, 2011)
A hoe is used, to carefully dig out yarshagumba along with soil. Yarshagumba is then slowly pulled out. That small heap of soil is again put back to its respective place, so that the field is not ruined for next year's harvest. Freshly picked up cordycep is then cleaned with the help of tooth brush.
